Clash of the Corporates 2010 coming soon!
HFD's Clash of the Corporates is a team adventure race around Wellington's waterfront. Participants work together in groups of four to race against other teams while carrying out physically-demanding yet fun activities in Wellington's beautiful outdoors. The race course is full of excitement and variety, going over various terrains including grass, concrete, sand, water and forest floor. It includes an obstacle course, dragging tyres, sprinting, jumping and running up to 5.5km-11km. The activites are all about challenging your cardiovascular fitness, strength, power, endurance, team work and - of course - your competitive spirit!
Each team of four can be either single-gender or include a mix of men and women. We have different categories for:
- corporate teams (workmates from the same company)
- public services (eg. navy, army, fire service)
- weekend warriors (a group of your best mates)
Up for grabs are some fantastic prizes and boasting rights for the next 12 months!
The winners of each category will win from a prize pool valued at over $5000! Merit prizes will be awarded in all categories for great performance, including best dressed team for the Weekend Warriors category - it's a great opportunity to get wild and crazy with costumes!

- Be sure to pick up your race package from Ferg's Kayaks on the Wellington Waterfront on either the 13th (10:00am - 7:30pm) or 14th November (10:00am - 4:00pm).
- Ensure that you have read the rules and regulations on the entry form for the HFD Clash of the Corporates 2009.
- Ensure that you know the time in which your category sets off on the course.
- Ensure that you are at the start of the race 35 minutes before the start for the race briefing.
