HFD is a group of like-minded trainers and fitness consultants who are concerned with training people individually and in group situations. This is done not only from a physical perspective but also an educational one. We live in a stressful environment with no time to learn how to eat or exercise well and to therefore function healthily. Learning about how our bodies operate and better ways to eat, exercise and recover will mean that our quality of life improves as well.

Training smarter is the key to achieving good overall fitness. To do this, we need to focus on not just one mode of fitness (like most fitness classes do) but rather train different types of fitness and progress our fitness level over time. Health & Fitness Dynamics offers training programs which improve overall functional body strength, core strength and stability, power, aerobic endurance, anaerobic capacity and flexibility. We prescribe these modes of fitness as they are relevant to any movement involved with being fit and healthy, whatever we choose to do in the future.

Training sessions are challenging but able to be completed by anyone who has been assessed through health screening tests such as blood pressure, heart rate, medical and physical history, postural analysis and a health questionnaire. This initial testing gives the participant the confidence to be physically tested and ready for training to begin.

We have also recognized that people shouldn't need to have a gym membership in order to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle. Therefore, our main goal is to bring our training and ongoing education to you.
